Autumn term 1

Mr Jack Rutterford

Teacher

We've had a really busy first half term with our new Sennen class. Taking part in various trips and completing a huge amount of learning. Here are some of our best bits from the term :)
Here we took a trip to the Kurt Jackson gallery in St Just and learnt about his amazing artwork. We were also lucky enough to try and recreate some of the scenery around us and study his techniques.
Our year 6's took part in Lifeskills at the fire station... it's clear to say they had a good laugh trying to bring a dummy back to life!
In October, we joined 4 other schools and were lucky enough to be taught music by a group of professionally trained musicians. The acoustics in the chapel were amazing!
In line with our art topic, we also took a trip down to Penlee museum. We were looking at art through history and focused on a small area in Penzance - Market place. From this, we designed what we thought market place would look like in the future and then created our art around this.
