The outline of the school day for pupils in the main school is:
Reception to Year Six
The school day begins at 8.50am for Reception, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils, with the doors opening at 8.40am and ends at 3.10pm. The school is therefore open for 32.5 hours to each pupil in a typical week
7.40am- 8.10am: 'Early Birds' Breakfast Club Opens
8.10am- 8.40am DFE Free (funded) Breakfast Club
8.40am: Children arrive and go to classes to prepare for the day.
8.50am: Registration begins. Children arriving after this time will need to be accompanied by an adult to the school office, they are entered in the late book and they will receive a late (L) mark.
9.20am: Registration closes. Children arriving after this time children need to be accompanied by an adult to the school office, are entered in the late book and they will receive a late after register (U) mark. which is an unauthorised mark.
12.50 KS1 Afternoon registration
1.05pm KS2 Afternoon Registration.
3.10pm Home time for all children.
3.10pm After School Clubs begin.
4.00pm After School Clubs finish no later than 4:00pm
This is the timing for Gwithian Nursery (3-4year olds)
