Welcome to Porthmeor Class in the Area resource Base, a nurturing and inclusive provision for children from Reception to Year 2 who have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
We provide a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where every child is valued as an individual. We work closely with children, families, and professionals to ensure that all pupils receive the personalised support they need to flourish academically, socially, and emotionally.
Through a carefully adapted curriculum, structured routines, and specialist interventions, we help children develop confidence, communication skills, independence, and a love of learning. We celebrate each child's strengths and achievements while providing opportunities to overcome challenges in a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
Children in the Area Resource Base are an important part of the wider school community and are supported to access learning and experiences alongside their peers wherever appropriate.
